Basics

2 · Your dashboard

The left menu is your home base:

  • My — your own profile, your devices (MyPeer), address books, tags and login history.
  • System — everything you manage for your organisation: devices, users, groups and address books.

Each item opens as a tab across the top so you can jump between them.

4 · Devices & address books

Your address book is the saved list of machines you support, so you don't have to remember IDs.

  1. Open My → AddressBooks (or System → PeerManage for every device on the account).
  2. Add a device by its ID, give it a friendly name, and save.
  3. Connect any time by clicking the device — no need to re-enter the ID.

5 · Groups & tags

Keep large device lists tidy:

  • Tags (My → Tags) — colour-coded labels like Reception or Warehouse. Filter your address book by tag.
  • Groups (System → GroupManage / DeviceGroupManage) — organise users and devices into groups that share access.
How-to

6 · Share devices with your team

Use a shared address book so your whole team sees the same device list.

  1. In My → AddressBooks, create or open a shared book.
  2. Add the devices, then grant your team members access to that book.
  3. Anyone with access can connect to those devices — no password swapping.

7 · Connection logs

See who connected, when, and to which device.

  1. Open My → LoginLog for sign-in history.
  2. Review connection records to keep an audit trail of remote sessions across your team.
Your plan

8 · Your plan & seats

Your KoolAssist plan includes a set number of seats (team logins) and devices. When you reach your limit, adding another is blocked until a seat is freed or your plan is upgraded.

To add seats or change your plan, contact us and we'll adjust it.
